This is an eagle plate I recently bought off eBay. I say it's my latest save cause it was dug at Old Pilots Town on the Ft Morgan peninsula. The seller was the widow of a man who bought it from either Mitchell or Neville years ago. I've seen so much in the way of artifacts leave the Gulf coast and for a change I managed to keep this one here.
No doubt this one came out of that sugar white sand around Ft Morgan. The patina is beautiful. The solder is solid and both hooks are present. Just wish I could dig one this pretty! Thanks for looking!
