The war in Iraq is between two factions of a religion. If one faction is in power they torture the other faction. Us choosing sides is not going to change a thing in their 2000 years of fighting. After we leave the two sides will quickly square off again and go at it. That is their history and their nature.

The war in Iraq has absolutely nothing to do with the extremists that bombed us on 9/11. How did we ever make a connection between the two? We should kill the folks that attacked us or ever intend on attacking us again. We are not doing that in Iraq. Those are not the people who attacked us. Those Muslims from other countries that are there fighting us are simply helping fellow Muslims defend their homeland. How the heck did we decide they are the ones who attacked us.????

If this is a war to stop the Muslims we need to attack Detroit..not Iraq. Set up a one mile perimeter around the city.....allow all non Muslims to leave and then blow the hell out of it. I would just about bet there are more Muslims in Detroit that want to blow something up in America as in most any city in Iraq.

I am a Republican as opposed to a Democrat. But I am also a free thinker. I have not been able to accept the fact that we should be in Iraq and I am only asking why we are there. Since the days of Vietnam and remembering the fact that we left and nothing happened like we were all told it would....I tend to question the reasons we do the things we do.
Iraq is not about terrorism. If you tell me we gotta go take their oil to protect our way of life... I have no problem with that. But don't tell me our kids gotta go shoot Iraqis to stop terrorism. That is a load of crap and I just ain't gonna drink from that glass of Kool Aid.

God bless America......but we ain't right all the time...and you gotta be willing to ask questions...
