Metal Detecting Online

Here is where we are at. So far we have lost two advertisers and have had one very negative comment from a long term supporter of this site. I realized that things like this would happen when we put up the Off Topics Forum. I also figure we will grow past this initial stage of figuring out who is who. There are a lot of times when I feel like talking detecting but on occasion I like to talk about something else. So we have the Off Topics.

Our long term supporter has said he is not coming back to the Off Topics so I guess he is fine. The advertisers were getting free banners and both had a substantial amount of click throughs to their own websites..so I guess they should be happy....in the long run.

If you know a company that likes to sell treasure hunting supplies or equipment please tell them to e-mail me. I will set them up a first class banner for free on the forum of their choice... and run it as long as they want or for as long as I feel like paying for this site.

I do this site for mine and your benefit. I do not take money from anyone. I just needed a place to talk detecting or anything else when I feel like it. Without having to worry about the delicate feelings of another web site owner. If you like it...stay with us. If you don't well..what can I say... there are plenty of other sites that will humor you or put up your banners and take your money.

I know the Off Topics has been a "bit edgy" lately...thanks TNP but I felt like leaving it all up. Sorry if it offended you or your friends. I find some of it hilarious. To think that someone allows a computer screen to get them upset just amazes me. There are some serious things in life that you need to get upset about. One of them is not this stupid internet. If you let someone get under your skin on this web you lose. That is the rule. Give it back to them as hard as you can without swearing..that just shows your lack of skill with the English language. And then laugh it all off. This is just the internet. We are all comfortable in our own homes..nothing anyone says on here is going to change anything in your life...unless you let it. So there you have it...The Mayors take on this Off Topics Forum.
It will be here for a while to come or until I lose interest. So far so good.
